-PSF supports the access of poor countries to generic versions of expensive medicines still under patent. In January 2003, it launched an international petition on the internet to ask the Secretary-General of the World Trade Organisation to honor the promises made in this regard with the Doha agreeements signed in Qatar in November 2001.
