-Since 2011, India: In Patna, EF partners with a local NGO, CSEI (Center for social equality and inclusion), to combat the social and economic exclusion of Dalit and Adivasi communities through education. In Kandhamal, EF also starts working with a Catholic NGO, Jana Vikas, to reconcile ethnic groups and reconstruct buildings burned down during riots against Christian Dalits and Adivasis in 2007 and 2008.
-2015, Belgium: With the publication of the second encyclical of Pope Francis, Laudato Si’, EF and AVE find renewed vigor for their work connecting human development with respect for the environment.
