1) The mission
-MADERA favours long term action and believes that a bottom-up strategy is the best to fight against poverty, illiteracy, obscurantism, i.e. factors which encourage social inequality and religious fundamentalism. A development association, MADERA has occasionally conducted relief programmes handing out food in the central regions of Afghanistan.
