2) The way it works
-At the beginning, AMI works in symbiosis with the local populations, who have to assume the food and accommodation of the medical teams. With only one employee in the head office in Paris, AMI thus has a good knowledge of the local needs and situation. The other side of the coin is that AMI is not always very efficient in the field, and that it deliberately takes the risk of supporting guerrillas.
