-Due to its advocacy work for the third world or asylum seekers in France, the CIMADE publishes many pamphlets and journals. Interestingly enough, it has also started to compile its archives. Yet the yearly reports on its website do not tell any details on programmes abroad, unlike development or emergency NGOs such as Entraide et Fraternité in Belgium or Médecins sans frontières in France. Out of 18 international projects in 2002, none are described, no budget is given, something rather surprising because the CIMADE fights for transparency and urges oil companies to “say what they pay” when they bribe authoritarian regimes in developing countries.
