-More specialised in rehabilitation than in emergency, HI has less opportunities than MSF or MDM to witness and inform against massacres and massive violations of human rights. From a political perspective, the most interesting action of the charity consisted in lobbying against landmines: a successful enterprise, considering the signature of the Ottawa Treaty.
